Edward A. Baker Library

Edward A. Baker made Mashpee his permanent home after retirement, where he lived for over 20 years.  In addition to pursuing his interests in nature, gardening, and his community, he served on many local committees; and he was president of the Mashpee Environmental Coalition (MEC) until his death in 2011.  To many, he was known as “Mayor of the Mashpee River.”  Both Mashpee and MEC are forever indebted to Ed for his efforts.

Many of the publications listed below were authored by Ed and other early MEC Board Members.  More recent documents have also been included.  We hope you enjoy!
